The fruit we supply is specifically sourced from our growers with the requirements and specifications of our end clients in mind and all of the business we do is programmed, back-to-back; returns in the processing sector do not suit speculators!

We ensure that at any one point in the year we are sourcing fruit from at least 3 sources so that, should there be any problems with general quality or crop failure, we are able to quickly switch sources thereby ensuring the customer experiences no interruption in supply. We see ourselves as a one-stop shop.

In addition to supply we have excellent relationships with several shipping companies as well as a very reliable European haulage network for sourcing product from Southern Europe or delivering to our customers in the north of Europe.

Our staff has a large amount of accumulated knowledge of the UK processing sectors’ requirements, in addition to strong product knowledge which we bring to bear on the business. In addition to understanding client requirements, the A1 Fruit team prides itself on its intimate knowledge of global fitosanitary regulations and certifications, ensuring that all imported fruit meets the latest EU-requirements. All our staff are multilingual to ensure the best possible communication of client requirements back through the supply channel.
